Never before has there been so much to choose from as this summer at The Watersports Academy. This year we are stepping up our RYA Youth Courses and continuing with our summer fun camp – you can now choose from a variety of different ways to spend those sunny summers days here with us on and in the water!
RYA Youth Courses
Two day RYA youth windsurfing
Prices : Mon & Tue/Wed & Thur £110
During this two day course your RYA instructor will teach you to sail around the harbour courses. You will be working your way through the official RYA log onto windsurfing scheme and having a blast at racing and freestyling.
Two day RYA youth dinghy sailing
Prices: Mon & Tue/Wed & Thur- £110
If you fancy joining the next Olympic sailing team then this could be the starting place for you. Your RYA instructor will show you and your crewmates all the skills you need to cruise around the harbour with skill and style, and before you know it you too could be going for gold!
Pick ‘n’ Mix
5 days (Monday to Friday) Price – £235
If you’re full of energy then why not join us for a whole week, where our multi-skilled instructors will work with you on progressing both your RYA sailing and windsurfing. At the end of the week we will take you on a day trip of a lifetime whether it be a windsurfing safari or a swashbuckling sailing adventure around the harbour. This will be a week full of adventure and fun! Our fully qualified instructors will guide you with enthusiasm, sharing their knowledge and skills so that you can learn successfully at your own pace.
Watersports Summer Fun Camp
The right mix of summer fun, learning and adventure
Prices – £60 per day; £100 2 days; £130 3 days. Includes equipment & wetsuits.
Have you ever windsurfed, stand-up paddle boarded, kayaked, skippered a sailboat, developed new skills and confidence whilst having a great time? The Watersports Academy offers you all this and more with six different activities for 8-16yrs in the beautiful surroundings of Sandbanks and Poole Harbour.
Activities
Windsurfing
Our instructors will take you through the RYA levels, teaching you how to windsurf like the pros. You will be racing, freestyling and carving up the harbour during your windsurf session.
Small boat sailing
We’ll teach you the art of sailing as you develop your skills in idyllic conditions. Together with your crew mates you’ll learn by doing, and you’ll be sailing with confidence before you know it.
Kayaking
Perfect for coastline exploration, or just paddle over to your friends on another boat in the fleet.
Snorkeling
Watch the undersea world shimmer with action.
Paddle boarding
Ride the waves off the golden sands of Sandbanks beach. Our fully qualified instructors will guide you with enthusiasm, sharing their knowledge and skills so that you can learn successfully at your own pace.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 4pm during Summer holidays. Leave your kids with us knowing they will be safe, enjoying themselves and learning new skills with our qualified instructors.
